Kiawah Island Family Photographer
Tiny Tots Photography was on location this month in South Carolina as a Kiawah Island Family Photographer! I had the privilege of photographing this beautiful family of three in one of my absolute favorite locations – Kiawah Island.
John and I met many years ago when his beach patrol unit was called to assist with a sea turtle nest that had hatched in the middle of the afternoon. It was my first time seeing dozens of little sea turtles make their way down the beach to their new home in the vast ocean. And of course I had to grab my camera to photograph this amazing experience. I captured many photos of John assisting the turtles that struggled to make their way out of the nest and offered to send him the photos.
And thus started a friendship. Each year, when I returned for vacation, I let him know I was in town and he let me know if there were any exciting happening that I may want to go take photographs of.
Fast forward almost six years, and John has gotten married and has a beautiful six month old daughter. This time instead of photographing turtles I had the privilege of photographing his new family. I couldn’t have asked for a more darling family. They were full of smiles and laughs the whole time!

Hi we are vacationing to Kiawah island in beginning of September and wondering if you do family pictures there? I can’t tell form your page if live there or Akron. There will be 10 adults and 3 children (5 little families) I know I am looking early but trying to find a reputable person and reasonable. Thank you!

Sorry for the confusion. I am located in Akron Ohio and would normally travel to Kiawah several times a year and book sessions during those times. Unfortunately with Covid, I am not doing that at this time. It’s great that you are looking so far in advance because reputable photographers do book months ahead.
