Newborn Portraits

One of my favorite parts of taking newborn portraits is meeting sweet new babies and their adoring families. I know your mom and dad were excited to meet you, and apparently you were excited to meet the too. Maybe a little too excited! You decided to surprise them and make your way into their arms and hearts two weeks early. I had the privilege of capturing your tiny toes, perfect little nose and even your bare tushy just eight days later!

You were still a very sleepy little guy! You opened those beautiful blues eyes once or twice during our session and let out your little newborn grunt to let me know it was time to eat.  But after a snack you were right back to the important business of sleeping.

As much as I looked forward to meeting you, it was also nice to finally meet your momma as well. We had been chatting about your session for the last few weeks, and it is always so nice to finally meet the person you have been talking with. It was clear just how in love with you she already is. Maybe that is why the picture of the two of you together is my absolute favorite.
