CORAL AND NAVY FAMILY PICTURE OUTFIT

Summer is one of the most popular times of the year for family pictures. If you have a session coming up, and are starting to stress over what to wear, don’t worry! We have you covered! Coral and navy happen to be a popular color combination for family picture outfits right now. And the family outfit above is a perfect example of how to wear it!

HOW TO WEAR A BOLD COLOR

Coral is a bold color. And can easily dominate your family picture. So it is important to use it in moderation when selecting your outfits. Try dressing just one family member in coral. And then using coral accessories and accents to pull the other family member’s outfits together. In the outfit above, mom is wearing a coral dress. And then both the son and daughter are wearing outfits with touches of coral to tie into mom’s outfit. The daughter is also wearing a coral headband and shoes.

Pairing a bold color with other ‘neutrals’ such as navy and gray is also important. These neutral help ground bold colors bringing balance to your family outfit and final portraits.

Fashion tip: Think about the natural pairings in your family when choosing outfits. Do you plan to have a picture of just your children together? How do their outfits look together if mom and dad’s outfits are not included?
